Where to Stay

In order to provide the most flexible options for our out-of-town guests, we are working to reserve blocks of rooms at multiple hotels around the city. Our guests will have the option of staying near the downtown area or near the I-465 belt for those who are more frugal. Currently, the following hotels have blocks of rooms reserved:

Candlewood Suites is about a 5 minute drive from the reception location, or about a $7 cab ride. It is located just outside downtown near IUPUI on Whiteriver Parkway. It has a nice view of the city from across the White River. The rooms offer in-suite kitchens and free internet access.

The Hilton Garden is located about 6 blocks from the Rathskellar (a 5 minute walk.) It is in the heart of downtown Indy, less than 100 feet from the circle. There are GREAT shopping, restaurants and attractions within a few blocks of the hotel. They also have a pool. A breakfast buffet is served each morning in the restaurant for $8.95 per person. It is by far the most convenient location of all the hotels. They also have two bedroom suites available upon request for at an increased rate.

The Hampton Inn is about a 15 minute drive from the reception location and a 20-25 minute drive to the ceremony location. It was completely renovated last year and offers a free continental breakfast. There are digital TV's in all of the rooms and there is also a pool on site. The Southport area has a variety of great restaurants and is less than a mile from Target, Kohls, and a variety of other stores. It is a bit of a drive, but the price is right!
