How We Met

Danny was a “Houseboy” at Kappa Kappa Gamma, my college sorority. We became friends during this time. I stuck around after lunch each afternoon with some friends and talked. The Houseboys usually stuck around and joined in after things were cleaned up. One snowy night, a bunch of these girls went out and ended up at Phi Psi, Danny’s fraternity. I ended up slipping down the stairs and breaking my foot. I was in denial for about 3 days. I thought I had just sprained my foot when, in actuality, it was very broken. Danny offered to drive me to the doctor.

About a month later, he stopped me on my way home from class and asked me to go to a dance with him. Unfortunately, my brother Erik was coming into town and I already had plans. Later that week he asked if I wanted to go to a movie with him before Erik came into town. I accepted and the rest is history!
